The game was close right from the opening faceoff, both goalies not letting anything get by. The game was score- less until the third period when Guelph opened the scoring. Noah St. Denis responded for Acton, with Five curling clubs participated in the week long Halton Peel Curling Club, Saturday, Jan 17. Forty-eight teams entered the spiel from Acton, North Halton, Milton, Orangeville and Brampton. Games started on Saturday, Jan 10 and were played all week among all five curling clubs with the finals in Acton last Sat- urday.
