Rd. 3) Improvements 10 Side Rd. to Highway 7 Town of Halton Hills Class Environmental Assessment Study The Regional Municipality of Halton has been undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment Study to consider future travel demands on Trafalgar Road (Reg. Rd. 3) from 10 Side Road to Highway 7. However, since the initiation of the Trafalgar Road Class EA Study a number of other studies by Halton Region and other levels of government have commenced that will have a direct impact on the transportation needs in Halton Hills and more specifically on the Trafalgar Road corridor. These studies can potentially affect the anticipated future traffic volumes along Trafalgar Road between 10 Side Road and Highway 7 and as a result, Halton Region wont be continuing with the Trafalgar Road Class EA Study until we have a better understanding of how the Trafalgar Road corridor and the transportation needs in Halton Hills will be affected by these studies. This study has been conducted in compliance with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (2000, as amended 2007), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. In the interim, in order to address current operational concerns, the Region will be undertaking an operational study along the Trafalgar Rd corridor between Steeles Ave to Highway 7 to identify current and short-term (one to five years) operational improvements that can be easily implemented along the corridor. This study will also include public consultation and the public is welcome to provide any suggestions or request any information on both studies by contacting one of the following persons listed below: Mr. Nick Zervos, C.E.T.
