However, the lilies caused much discomfort to folks with al- lergies, so it was decided to substitute something else. This year, Daughters of Knox are joining with W.M.S groups all across Canada in raising funds to build sleeping quarters for children who attend Jobat Christian School in India, many of whom live too far from the school to go home at night. To this end, they are putting together a Wall of Honor asking Church members to buy a brick for $25 in memory of loved ones, or to honor friends who are still with us. On Easter Sunday, the wall will be placed at the front of the church and dedicated. The response has been very generous, while members say they will miss the flowers, they are thank- ful that they are able to help the children get an educa- tion, to improve the quality of their lives in the future. Correction A story in last weeks issue incorrectly reported that Acton Councillor Jon Hurst did not receive any remuneration for parking, ETR and kilometrage from the Town last year when, in fact, he did receive $616.42 for those submitted expens- es. The New Tanner regrets the error. Seniors Rec... Novice Chargers drop one
