Halton Hills Hydro reports a community wide reduction of 7.5 per cent from a kilowatt hour consumption point of view, down from 9.4 per cent last year. The reduction in this years Earth Hour would be the equivalent of taking approximately 4,700 houses off the (power) grid for one hour, said Halton Hills Hydros chief Operating Officer Art Skidmore said on Wednesday.
