Bill DeVries - My Step Dad I knew that I had a wonderful family but until now I didnt know how much of an extended family I had. To all of my friends and everyone of my customers, I thank you. Your support at this very dif- ficult time has been wonderful. The hugs and shoulders that I cried on, the beautiful cards and generous donations mean more to me than I can say. For that I feel truly blessed. For those days that people still ask how we are doing - thank you. We all know that time is a healer bu the concern from everyone just makes that time go by at a much softer pace. The joys of being in a small town! Monica Galway, Profile Hair Salon Bill DeVries I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to so many friends who were there to support myself and our families during Bills illness and his passing. The support of family has been more than I can express in words. For all of our children - a big thanks. For the support of nursing and assistance thanks to Shari and Barb - our guardian angels - I could not have done it without you. Bills wish was to celebrate the many joys in his life through family, friends and of course music. What a wonder- ful feeling it was for all of us to celebrate and enjoy the music he so loved. Through Bills love of his family and friends we were able to say farewell to him through his music. I am sure he was watching and sending his thanks for the great life that he had. Thank you to Paul & Gord for arranging the music. As well as the words from the people who spoke, thank you, that gave us all much comfort. For all the donations, flowers, words and hugs, the many cards and letters that people have sent, it means so much to all of us. Thank you to the Acton Medical staff who always made Bills visits as comfrtable as possible. A special thank you to Dr. Minc for his visits to our home and his kind and caring words. To Ian Passmore - thank you for your support and kindness and for going above and beyond to help us through this tough time. Thank you to the Legion and Legion ladies for hosting Bills celebration of life. The memories of bills life and his music will go on forever. Joan Parker and the Parker & DeVries families.
