Alfred was the adored father of Caroline (Jim), Heather (Greg) and James (Theresa). and the much loved grandfather of: Jer- emy, Ryan, Amber-Lea, Rebecca, Carleigh, Melissa, Danielle, Tris- tan, Ashleigh and Eric. He was the son of the late Alfred and Louise Thatcher and brother of Cynthia, the late Ivy, Rita and Derek. He will be missed by his extended family. Alfred was a decorated W.W. II Veteran. He served from 1938 to 1946 in France, Italy, Sicily and North Africa. Special thanks to Dr. Minc, Dr. Vanderbent and all the medical staff who gave such good care to Alfred.
