Junior Tyke After an early second period lead of 3-2 the Timbits Blackhawks, led by MVP Tyler Jaycocks four goals, turned up the pressure and cruised to a 7-3 victory over the Timbits Flyers in the championship game. Strong goaltending from Brencis Large of the Blackhawks and Graham Ripley (Flyers) kept the scoring down, consider- ing the numerous breakaways on both sides. Ryan Docker, Stefen Panzani and Nathan Gaudette rounded out the Hawks scoring. Flyer MVP Bryce Hillock paced the Flyers with two goals, while Jack Reid added a single marker. In the consolation final, the Timbits Bruins edged the Timbits Lightning 11-10 as Bruins MVP Matthew Oram dominated the game with eight goals. Shawn Jackman added the other Flyer score, with Alex Wharram receving player- of-the-game honours. Nicholas Deligiannis had the Blackhawk tally and goalie Matthew Boardman was him teams MVP. On the consolation side, William Cousins posted the shutout for Spruce Your Roost Canadiens and Jesse Beaulieu scored in overtime in a 1-0 win over the Jason Clark Royal LePage Bruins. Logan Tralla was the Bruins MVP. Peewee White The shutout netminding of MVP Thomas Ormond, along with two goals and an assist by captain Blair Davies, boosted the Ramsay & Barr Assoc. Canadiens to a 4-0 victory versus the Jones & Son Blackhawks in the final con- test. Jake Crosby and Kirk Riedstra rounded out the Canadiens scoring, with Adam Puckering and Kendrick Kerr adding assists. Chris Roach scored twice and set up another, while Allan Hickmott was named MVP for the Wild Wing Flyers in their 4-2 consolation title-winning effort against the Stoyles Carpentry Stars. House league tourney boasts thrilling finals Bratin Auto Muffler goalkeeper Nicholas Kinney blocks a shot by Emerald Isles Nicholas Farrugia on Friday afternoon in a bantam division contest during the annual Georgetown Minor Hockey Association House League Christmas Tournament at the Alcott Arena.
