The Public Information Centres will provide an initial opportunity for public consultation on the nine Technical papers prepared as part of Phase 1 of the Comprehensive Zoning By-law review. The overall objective of the information centres is to: Increase public awareness of the Comprehensive Zoning By-law review project; Provide a status update on the project; Invite initial public input on the Technical Papers and the new Zoning By-law; and Educate the public on the planning process and the importance of a Zoning by-law. The Public Information Centres will take the format of open houses and will provide an opportunity for all attending citizens to ask questions of Town staff and/or the project consultant, and provide feedback on the project. While there will be no presentation at the Public Information Centres, display boards summarizing the Zoning By-law process, and showing existing zoning and new Official Plan designations will be available for viewing.
