GRATTON, Silvana It is with profound grief and great sadness that we announce the passing of Silvana Gratton (nee Di Giacinto) on January 30th, 2008 at the young age of 50. Beloved wife of Mike, Sil will be sadly missed by her mother Iolanda, brother Jim, sister-in-law Rita and her nephews Robert (Andrea), Justin and David. Silvana will also be sorely missed by her sister Con- nie, brother-in-law Joe and nephews Nick (Vicki), John and niece Phyllis. The sadness of her loss will be felt by her numerous aunts, cousins, friends and their respective families both in Canada and in Italy. She will be lovingly remembered by her stepson Mike, his wife Rachel and grandchildren Nicholas, Angelique and Alexa. Silvana lived her life with class and kindness, always putting others ahead of her- self. Her intelligence and professionalism at work were respected by all, and those who were fortunate enough to know Sil, have truly been blessed. If wealth is measured by the number of loving friends you have made in your lifetime, Silvana was a very wealthy lady.
