For the past 31 years, Hornby Cooperative Nursery School has been providing preschool programs for chil- dren in Halton Hills, Milton and sur- rounding areas. To keep the costs as low as possible, families donate their time and resources to operate the facility, through participation in day-to-day classroom activities and committee work. The overall goal of the school is to provide children with a stimulating envi- ronment to promote growth and develop- ment. The school is staffed by qualified ECE teachers, and provides healthy nutri- tious snacks, safe indoor and large out- door play area and a structured curricu- lum. Parents have the flexibility to enroll their children from one to five days per week. Programs are available for children from 2 to 5 years of age, including a morning Nursery School program (9- 11:30 a.m.) and an afternoon JK/SK Enrichment program (1-3:30 p.m).
