Tennier recovered from an appendix operation and switched to point guard, net- ting 11 points in Acton's victory over White Oaks in the Halton senior boys' basketball semifinals. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Aaron Hnatiw and Nicole Bond. Hnatiw, a guard on the Rebels senior basketball team, was cho- sen for his 8 points against MMR, where he had 6 assists. Bond, a power and co-captain on the Rebels junior volleyball team, was selected for her good hit- ting and kills during the Sweet 16 Provincial Tournament in Vaughan. Christ the King Catholic High School Athletes of the Week are Brittany Metcalfe and Matt George. Metcalfe, a defenseman on the Jaguar's girls hockey team, was selected for her goal against Holy Trinity. George, a centre on the Jaguars' senior basketball team, was cited for his good defense, great rebounds and 12 points against Notre Dame.
