Georgetown BIA manager Kay Matthews invites residents to dust off their bicycles and come down- town large bicycle racks were installed on the north and south end of downtown and smaller bike rings on the east and west sides. Three new benches have been installed (thanks to generous spon- sors) and more are on the way, says Matthews. For the summer, hanging baskets are on order and a maintenance pro- gram is in place to continue the work of making Downtown Georgetown a beautiful place to cycle, sit and shop. On Saturday, June 21st, the Georgetown Farmers Market opens with the Festival on Main (June 20- 21). On that day there will be fresh produce, plants, and lots of music and entertainment.
