Captain Anderson was a WW2 vete- ran and served 28 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Forces and retired after 17 years with the City of Kitchener as Operations Supervisor. She travelled the world, enjoyed her garden, was an active curling member of North Halton Golf and Curling Club and the University Women's Club. Mary Lou spent her last days sur- rounded by her faithful friends and family who will always remember her selflessness, smile and caring heart. Born February 25th, 1932 in Stayner, Ontario to John and Marion McQueen. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years Barbara, and his sons Lindsay (Adair), Brian (Jody) and his daughter Alison (John). Cherished by his grandchildren, Chris- topher, Renee, Sydney, Delaney, Landon, Emma, Grace and Abbie. Al leaves behind his only living sister Flora Robertson. He will be fondly remem- bered by all his friends in the music communities of Hamilton, Dundas, Brampton and Georgetown. Al spent 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy specializ- ing in Torpedo Detection and Mine Warfare. He retired in 1992 from the Halton Regional Police Force as Sargent with over 30 years total of dedicat- ed Police Service behind him.
