The proposed amendment applies to the property known as Part of Lot 2, Concession 8 and municipally known as 8285 Hornby Road and 8300 Trafalgar Road, Town of Halton Hills (Esquesing). A Group Home Type 1 is a permitted use within the Rural zoning district, however, the Zoning By-law requires that they be located a minimum of 1000m from a Group Home Type 2. The proposed amendment would also allow an associated day program for approximately 30 people, including residents of the property.
