McKEOWN, Ralph Franklin 1926 - 2008 Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 in his 83rd year at the William Osler Brampton Civic Hospital. Born April 7th, 1926 in Acton, Ontario, pre- deceased by his wife Eleanor. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his son Bill McKeown (Jan), his daughters Jo Poulstrup (Finn) and Donna Couch- man (Steve). Grandchildren Rych, Jake, Adam, Lee, Heather and Chrissy. Great grandchildren Cody, Mckenzie, Emily and Dylan. Also step-grandchildren Clair and Scott. His accomplishments were realized through his many teaching positions including SS#8 Erin, Robert Little P.S. Acton, Glen Williams P.S., Limehouse P.S. and Wrigglesworth P.S. in George- town. His joy was in watching the children mature. Many former students will remember his love of mu- sic and the old fashioned spelling bees and his relentless quest to have the students memorize their multiplication tables. Reunited now with her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband Bruce, the soldier she married in 1945, and their three eldest children.
