Don was an enthu- siastic supporter of his children and grandchildren in their athletics and academics and of the Hamilton Ti- ger-Cats, the Queen's Golden Gaels and the University of California at Berkeley football teams. Don will be remembered for his courage and strength, his sense of loyalty, honesty, equity and equality, his curious and challenging intellect and for his great wit and humour. He loved to laugh, particu- larly at his own jokes, and treasured and enjoyed his times with family, his fishing buddies and friends from Georgetown and his recent friendships from Kingston and Howe Island.
