The proposed amendment applies to the property known as Part of Lot 2, Concession 8 and municipally known as 8285 Hornby Road and 8300 Trafalgar Road, Town of Halton Hills (Esquesing). The subject property is located in the rural cluster of Hornby. Below is a map showing the location of the subject property to which the proposed Zoning By-law amendment would apply. The proposed Group Home Type 1 would be located 390m from the nearest Group Home Type 2. The proposed amendment would also allow an associated day program for approximately 30 people, including residents of the property. DATE/TIME: Monday, July 14, 2008 @ 7:30 PM LOCATION: Council Chambers, Civic Centre FILE NO: D14ZBA08.005 The Salvation Army 80 Acton/Georgetown, Friday, July 11, 2008 13 ENTERTAINMENT The Georgetown Little Theatre, now approaching its 50th season in 2010-2011, is ramping up for the 2008-2009 season with three proven hits: Rumors, a door-slamming farce by Neil Simon; A Party to Murder, a twisty mystery set in a remote Muskoka cottage by Marcia Kash & Douglas Hughes; and, cap- ping off the season, Hayfever, Noel Cowards deliriously funny comedy of bad manners. This seasons running themethe lives of the rich and strange. GLT is thrilled to open the upcoming season with a comedy by Americas master of the farce, Neil Simon, directed by award- winning director Kathryn DeLory. She has directed past shows for GLT, including The Importance of Being Earnest and Drinking Alone. Recently, DeLory won an Association of Community Theatres Central Ontario (ACTCO) award for Best Direction of a Play for Markham Little Theatres 2007 production of Outlaw by Canadas own comic playwright, Norm Foster. Auditions for Rumors will take place at the GLT studio, 33 Stewarttown Road on Monday, July 14 and Thursday, July 17. Doors open at 7 p.m. so actors can review the script before auditions begin at 7:30 p.m. Auditions consist of a round-robin reading from the script, no prepared monologues required. Appointments are also not required if youre interested, just show up on either July 14 or July 17 by 7:30 p.m. GLT welcomes all actors from the first-timer curious to tread the boards to the seasoned stage veteran the main requirement is a desire to have fun and work with a community of like-mind- ed theatre lovers. Rumors, running November 6-8 and Nov. 12-15, at the John Elliott Theatre, is set during the 10th anniversary of the deputy mayor and his wife. The first couple arrives to find the host has shot himself in the head (its only a flesh wound) and that his wife is missing. The couple try to cover up the attempted shoot- ing but as each new couple arrives with their own set of hilarious complications, the lies and cover-ups become too much to sus- tain and nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. First performed in 1988, Simons popular farce has been a mainstay for community and professional theatres alike. Also, if youre interested in helping out backstage on this show or in becoming a member of the Georgetown Little Theatre, or if you have any questions about auditions, please leave a message at the studio, 905-877-3422 or visit GLT on the web at: www.georgetownlittletheatre.ca.
