There was no sign of forced entry. An undisclosed quantity of cash was taken. Wallet stolen A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at an Eaton St. home sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Bus vandalized A bus parked at a bus depot on Armstrong Ave. was damaged sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The windshield was cracked, ignition damaged and axle broken. Damage is estimated at $800. GPS unit stolen A GPS unit valued at $300 was stolen from a Jeep Liberty parked at a Lily Lane Georgetown residence sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Vandalism at church A fire extinguisher was set off on the front step of the Queen of Peace church at the Croatian Centre on Winston Churchill Blvd. Saturday night. Police report at about 11:30 p.m. an area resident thought he saw smoke coming from the church and went to investi- gate. When he arrived there was no fire, but he saw four male youths leaving in a white pas- senger van. Bins on fire Halton Hills Firefighters were called to a Cook St. apartment complex early last Wednesday morning for the report of an unknown fire. Upon arrival fire crews found five large recycling bins on fire. They were quickly extinguished. Pool heater heats up Firefighters were called to a John St. resi- dence last Friday evening for a pool heater on fire.
