RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidate will provide a variety of preschool activities for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Responsible for provision of crafts, games, songs, and educational activities in a classroom setting. Responsible for preparing and implementing a developmentally appropriate program that will help prepare participants for entry into elementary school. Responsible for ensuring that participants have an opportunity to learn through play, observation and interaction. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must be creative, caring and have experience working in a preschool program. Preference will be given to those with current ECE qualifications (or equivalent) and first aid training. Candidates must be willing to obtain a criminal reference check prior to commencing employment. SALARY RANGE: The salary range for this part-time position will be $18.09 to $21.54 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
