The public is invited to both events and atten- dance is free. Theres No Place Like Home is an art show opening today (Wednesday) at the Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre in Glen Williams. An opening reception with the artists (including recipients of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario), will be held Friday night, 7-10 p.m. The show will continue until October 13. The artwork presents the artists points of view on environmental issues, climate change and glob- al warming. Complementing the art show will be series of speakers at the Glen Williams Town Hall on Saturday, Sept. 13, between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., dis- cussing environmental issues and what residents of Halton Hills can do at home and business. From 10-10:40 a.m. Lynn Johannson talks about Go Green at work, home and play. Johannson is the author of a number of books and articles on the environment including Going for the Green, a series of short guides and tools for small business.
