TVCOGECO to launch new season Monday Building on the success of past seasons, TVCOGECO will launch a new season of community television the week of September 15th. The success of our two anchor programs, TVCOGECO News and Your Lifestyle has really boosted the audience watching TVCOGECO in north Halton. Building on this foundation, weve added some exciting new shows to our line-up, says TVCOGECO producer, Sandy French. Along with our staple coverage of local councils and sports, cable customers can also watch volunteer produced programs such as Seniors Showcase, Haunted Halton, MotorCycleLife and With Good Taste. This is truly local television! Also returning this season are live programs SportsZONE Live, Auto Experts and Optimist TV Bingo. Other productions in the works include candidate meetings for the federal elec- tion, our annual Christmas special, parades and coverage of regional sports. Volunteers are the backbone of community television says Frank Myers, manager of Programming & Community Relations, without their talent and dedication, program- ming of this calibre wouldnt be possible. In return, our vol- unteers and students gain valuable experience in television. Many have gone on to successful careers in the industry. The complete TVCOGECO schedule is available at www.tvcogeco.com.
