More than 1,000 dancers auditioned across Canada and of that, approximately 180, including Emma, were accepted into the sum- mer program. Following the month-long evaluation approximately 50 dancers were accepted into their full-time pro- gram. Emma was a dance student of Kelly Paddle and Claudia Lopez- Caicedo at the Center Stage School of the Arts in Georgetown.
