The teams big bats helped them to clinch the champi- onship title. Emma Keefe was the leader of the bats, going 2-for-2 with a home run and a huge grand slam. In all, she brought in six RBI and scored three runs for her team. Sarah-Jane Vezina and Eliza Lanneval contin- ued the homerun parade. Vezina hit a solo shot in the first inning to score her teams first run, while Lanneval hit a two-run blast in the third. Meanwhile, Maddie Wilson went 2-for-3 with two big s ingles. Delrex s leadoff batter Kylie Ricciardi led the bats for her team, going 2-for-3 with two solo home- runs and three runs scored. Amy McVittie also hit a solo blast in the final game. Cara Brown scored her teams other run in the third inning. Semifinal Delrex Variety 22, Dunlop Insurance 3 Delrex Varietys leadoff batter Kylie Ricciardi set the bar high, going 5-for-5 with two home runs and four runs scored. Both teams played strong offence and defence during the game, with DDH coming out ahead in the end. Kaylynn Pshyk was the hero of DDH.
