Margaret Spingola Sept. 21, 1922 - Mar. 14, 2008 A Letter to My Ma, If I was granted just one wish, I'd wish just one more day, The time to spend with you today, On your 86th Birthday! I would listen to your stories, So many you had, to tell, Of growing up in England, And your memories of the day. We'd walk the back 40 hand in hand, Laughing at your witty remarks & Singing your childhood songs. Every now and then you would ask, "Who are you"? But that didn't change a thing. We'd continue on walking without a pause, Reminiscing as we walked, The comfort I felt just being there, With you, my confidante. I miss you Ma, so very much, You taught me well, you'd say. I miss your hugs, your warm embrace, And dancing the night away. I hope to see you again one day, I hope in a better place. Until then Ma, please wait for me, And we'll walk hand in hand again. Happy Birthday Ma, Love you always, Debi MARGARET ROSE SPINGOLA In loving memory of our dear mother who left us March 14/08 You have been a blessing; Your hands always helping; Your arms always open; Your face full of smiles; Your ears ready to listen; Your love never ending; Your heart full of gold.
