CP320 Acton/Georgetown, Friday, September 28, 2007 5 Halton Police are looking for a woman who assaulted another woman in the Cedarvale leash-free dog park Tuesday evening. At about 6:45 p.m. a 23-year-old Georgetown woman was in the park with her dog when a woman, man and two children entered the park with a Doberman pinscher. Police say the children began running around with the dogs in the park, some of which jumped on them. The woman with the children became bel- ligerent with the other woman, accusing her of not controlling her dog. That woman told her to control her children. The woman with the chi ldren then slapped the other woman in the face, pushed her and kicked her in the stomach. The victim handed her cell phone to another woman in the park and asked her to call police. In the meantime, the woman, man, kids and their dog left on foot and were gone when police arrived. The victim wasnt injured. The female suspect is described as white, 56, 250 lbs., with blonde hair, wearing beige pants and a blue and white striped shirt. The man was white, with short dark hair, jeans and a black t-shirt. One of the children is described as a girl, two to three-years-old, with blond hair and was wearing a pink dress. The victim and witnesses said they hadnt seen the woman or children in the park before but they had seen the man. Anyone with information is asked to call Const. Paul Harrower at 905-878-5511 ext. 2105. Police are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed the cab of a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of Five Sideroad east of Tenth Line Tuesday evening. Police report at about 10 p.m. passersby contacted police about the truck cab, a 2001 blue Freightliner that was fully engulfed in flames. No one was in the truck and the dri- vers side door was open.
