Registration is open for the 2007/2008 Go Active! Fitness Challenge sponsored by McDonalds Restaurants of Canada, with support from the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC). The Go Active! Fitness Challenge is an annual program that provides Canadian elementary schools the oppor- tunity to earn $200 in phys-ed credits per participating class, up to a maximum of $500 per school. Participating teachers will test stu- dents on a series of six exercises: crunch- es, push-ups, 50-metre dash, shuttle run, standing long jump and an endurance run. School hockey team sells program for trip Christ The King High School Senior Boys hockey team is trying to raise money to play in a tournament in Europe on March Break 2008. They are printing a program that they want businesses to advertise in. The pro- gram will be distributed to all the fami- lies in the school community and also will be distributed to all the fans that attend their hockey games (45 games in total this hockey season.)
