Police report gang-type graffiti with the word CRIPS, and initial JBC and GBB were scrawled in black marker on three doors in the mens wash- room at Georgetown District High School (GDHS). Police say the word CRIP was also spray-paint- ed on a rear metal door at Gary Allan High School sometime late last Wednesday or early Thursday. Damage was estimated at $50. Graffiti was also discovered spray-painted on a wall at Centre Stage School of the Arts on Main St. S. Monday morning. No damage estimates were given for the GDHS or Centre Stage incidents. The sixth annual Kitchen Aid Cooking for the Cure breast cancer fundraiser was held Tuesday at Rotary Glen Banquet Hall in Brampton and chief organizer Sherrie Louth was thrilled to see more than $15,000 was raised to bring the six-year total to more than $100,000.
