In addition, I want to say thanks to everyone who volunteered and worked so hard to support my campaign, and thanks to all who voted for me. Even after 17 years in the Ontario Legislature, I still feel incredibly honoured to have been given this chance to serve again as a Member of Provincial Parliament. It is a responsibility which I take very seriously. As I said many times during the campaign, I want to represent each and every resident of our riding equally and fairly. It doesnt matter where you live in the riding or who you voted for, my staff and I are here to help. Our provincial riding office has been located in downtown Fergus since 1998, at 181 St. Andrew Street East. Our telephone number is 1- 800-265-2366 and our e-mail address is ted.arnottco@pc.ola.org Given the fact that I usually drive through Halton Hills on my frequent trips to and from Queens Park, I plan to schedule stops, ensuring that I am accessible to you and that we can keep in close touch. Im looking forward to attending your community events and supporting your community organizations. On October 11, the next morning after the provincial election, I wrote to the Minister of Health, the Hon. George Smitherman. I urged him to expedite his review and approval of the CT scanners we need at the hos- pitals in Fergus and Georgetown. It is my inten- tion to follow up with the minister when the Provincial Legislature resumes sitting. On October 15, I called upon Premier Dalton McGuinty to recall the Legislature as soon as pos- sible. I look forward to the chance to serve you.
