10 Independent & Free Press, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 Once again, Halton Regional Pol ice wi l l be support ing the Salvation Army in their annual Christmas Toy Drive. Area residents can drop off gifts of new, unwrapped toys and cloth- ing in both Acton and Georgetown. Donated items will be delivered to the local Salvation Army to be distr ibuted to needy famil ies within the community where the donation was made. As in previous years there is a great need for gifts for teenagers. Gift cards and gift cer- t i f icates are a great idea for that age group. In addition, warm coats, hats, mitts, boots and other clothing for children of all ages would be greatly appreciated. The Georgetown stat ion is located at 217 Guelph Street, and the Acton station is at 315 Queen Street. Halton Police helping with Sally Ann toy drive
