McKENDRY - BAKER Rob and Colleen Baker are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Sam McKendry-Baker who arrived on November 1st, 2007 at 7:55 pm, weighing in at 3 lbs., 12 1/2 ozs. WANLESS, Marjorie Rachel 1917 - 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the pass- ing of Marjorie Rachel (McCaig) Wanless. She joined her beloved Ernie on November 10th, 2007. Born June 24th, 1917 at Guelph, Ontario, she lived for many years in Agincourt and then in West Hill. In 2001 she became a resident at The Wenleigh in Mis- sissauga. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Ernest G. Wanless in 1998 and her par- ents, Alexander McCaig (1948) and Evaline (Marshall) McCaig (1965). She is survived by her sisters Helen Hansen and Evaline Snow, brothers- in-law Roy Hansen, Clarence (Bud) Snow, William Stephen and Dawn Wanless, sister-in-law Viola McCaig and dear long time friend, Louise Trott. Pre- deceased by her brothers Marshall (Inez) McCaig and James McCaig, sisters Maude Stephen, and Mary (Chester) Meek, and sister-in-law Violet Wan- less. Auntie Marj will be deeply missed by her many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces. To her and Uncle Ernie, they were all precious. Their keen interest in these "young people" was special and will always be remembered. Marjorie was a member of Knox Unit- ed Church in Agincourt for 55 years. She was also a long term volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Asso- ciation and for this involvement she received the Volunteer Award from the City of Scarborough in 1991. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A time for visitation and remembrances will be held on November 10th, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, Ontario. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Marjorie Wanless will be held on December 1st, 2007 at 11:00 am at Knox United Church, 2569 Mid- land Avenue, Agincourt, Ontario. Remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Wenleigh for the care and compassion given to Marjorie during her 6 1/2 year residence there.
