Barry, you enriched the lives of so many people, you were the best brother, uncle and friend to all. Your death was such a shock and it changed our lives for- ever but you left us with so many beautiful memories and good times we had together. Your passion for football, I mean come on, going through grade 13 three times just to play but that was the REBEL spirit in you. We know that you are a guardian angel watching over us. GDHS Phys. Ed. Dept. wanted to keep your spirit alive so they started the Barry Hard- man Award; it was first presented in 1983 and continues now after 25 years. In June of 2007 I ap- proached the staff about a permanent plaque, the teachers were very receptive and I had it made, it hangs in the hallways "on the wall of fame" with your photo and it will be continued to be presented for years to come. What a wonderful honour for you to be recognized this way. To all of Barry's friends out there reading this thank you for driving to Wiarton for his funeral in bad weather and to his co-workers who performed an honour guard and being with us at such a difficult time. As time has gone by it does get easier but I know that none of you will forget him and he is in our thoughts each day. I ask for you to hon- our Barry by raising a glass and before you have that drink remember him for a moment for his sense of humour, intelligence and sharp memory for foot- ball stats and his warm but devilish smile. Forever loved and missed, By his sister LeeAnne, brother in law Bruce, nephew Jeffery and niece Deidre Edwards In Memory of Anne Caden (Turkington) Known to so many as Nan.
