Smith -- Les and Geri (Myers) are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, Thomas Edward, born Wednesday, May 18, 1994 at 7:50 p.m., weighing 8 lbs., 2 ozs. First grandchild for Rena and Tom Smith of Osoyoos, B.C., and 17th grandchild for the late Margaret and Edward Myers. Thomas has been welcomed with delight by ecstatic aunts and uncles and 16 cousins. Special thanks to Drs. Debbie and Paul Zeni and nurses and staff at the Georgetown District Memorial Hospital.
