50 years together! Halton Hills mayor Marilyn Serjeantson was on hand to present Joan and Art Froed with a plaque recognizing their 50th anniversary. The couple were married at St. John's United Church in Georgetown on September 22, 1945 and have lived in Acton ever since. They joined family and friends, including sons David, Doug and Dan, to celebrate at the Acton Legion on Sunday.
