- LIGHTLE, John (Johnny) Harrison Snell Sr. -- Passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 1997 in his 95th year at Guelph General Hospital. Johnny beloved husband and partner of Hazel (Farey) for 62 years. Loving father of John and his wife Annie of Acton. Predeceased by his son Verne (1948). Johnny will be sadly missed by his five grandchildren, Elizabeth and her husband Edward Visser, Sheila and her husband Rodney Salisbury, Marilyn and her fiance Mike Currie and John and Janet Lightle. Friends were received at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Acton, Ontario.
