DALZIEL, John Skelly -- On Sunday, October 5, 1997, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines. John Dalziel in his 78th year, loving husband of Annie (Nancy) Stewart and father of James and his wife Barbara of Toronto, Isabel and her husband Adrian of Atlanta Ga., and Stewart and his wife Beverly of Brampton. Proud grandfather of Andrew, Marcus, Erica, Lisa, Jeff, Ryan And Steven, and great-grandfather of Lucas. John was born in soccer hotbed of Clydebank, Scotland, and brought his family to Canada in 1957. As a merchant, he was a 25 year employee and union activist at the Orenda Engine Division of Hawker Siddley Canada, Maker of Avro Arrow's Iroquois engine. John and Nancy lived in Georgetown for more than 25 years before moving to St. Catharines in 1985. Thanks to doctors Nagal and Rosenberg, Sisters Louise and all the nurses, doctors and staff at Hotel Dieu. John is also survived by sister Isobel Nicolson of Dumbarton, Scotland, and many other relatives in Scotland, Canada and Australia. Funeral Service, Wednesday, October 8, at 11:00 a.m., at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ontario.
