HAGGETT, George Lewis -- Peacefully at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, on January 8, 1998. George Lewis Haggett in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Ethel. Loved father of Max and his wife Joan, Rona and her husband Wayne Currie and Roger and his wife Jane. Caring grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 4. George was devoted to the Acton community and active in his roles with the Acton Tanners Hockey Club, Acton Boy Scouts and was a longtime member of St. Alban's Anglican Church. Friends were received at the St. Alban's Anglican Church Sat. Jan. 10, 1998 from 2-3 p.m. Funeral service was held in the church at 3 p.m. Cremation. Reception to follow in the UpperHall of St. Alban's Church.
