Acton District High School student Staff Photo Travelling art show here two days at MZB school Helton County travelling show played the M Z Bennett school for two days last week and quite a few of those who came returned again for another look There were 160 paintings on display representing every school in county and every grade from kindergarten to grade 1 Talented young people from three schools had their entries All were labelled In charge of the show were o r d coordinator of creative arts for the county and John All three were here Actoi questions The show opening was in Acton from here it goes to Georgetown high school May and lo Milton high school May and to art gallery and and to Burlington Central arena June A and 5 The M auditorium made a fine location for the School classes from the Robert Utile school and high school as well as the M school trooped over to sec the kind of work others arc doing in their art classes The public response wjsvery good enthused personable Mr Thorndykc Credit must go to the students and teachers Without heir a show like this would be impossible He called lo the attention of visitors the wide range of artistic expression from imaginative surrealism to carefully detailed realism No two art in the county jre quite alike Mr Thorndykc explained He stressed thai the calibre of work is very high So fine were submitted for this show thai 160 were soon chosen yet the next were just so good the committee in had slides made of them They were not shown here due to lack of space This is the fits time a travelling art show of this
