old Brian Campbell officially began his duties in town last Tuesday An Oakville native who recently completed his first year in the General Arts course at Sheridan College Brian was the choice of Parks and Recreation program committee members Peter Marks and Barry Inscoe to head up a new summer recreational program that will provide activity for citizens of all ages In the past summer ac tivities in Acton have been mostly confined to children While in Brian was involved In youth council work He helped organize a dropIn centre and arranged to have prominent guest speakers attend youth workshops Brian was one of the organizers of Oakville Trailer a drug crisis and treat centre Youth centre One of Brian chief responsibilities will be a youth centre which he expects will open
