Seven candidates seek victory Thursday Is EDay In County and across Ontario as voters head for the polls to elect their provincial government Officials predict a record turn out In both East and Halton West ridings and voters are warned to either vote early in the day or face lengthy lineups A total of voters are eligible to cast ballots for candidates In the two ridings East comprises Milton Georgetown and the lower 22 lots In Township and has a record 50000 eligible to mark their tomorrow Halton West Includes Burlington Acton and the northern most lots in Township and officials estimate there are eligible to vote Predict record vote in Halton In Halton West George Kerr recently named Minister of the Environment is the incumbent He was first elected to represent riding in and won the Halton West seat in when the county split into East and West ridings His opponents are Robert McNutt for the Liberals an assistant professor in geography at university and the Walter a high school teacher All three men are Burlington residents 373 polls East has 159 polling stations many of them split into A and B sections while the Halton West riding has 214 polls Three challengers are
