the inclement weather BACK PACKING On the weekend of March training was held for the upcoming North District Explorers hike This a back packing weekend for Scouts that will take place on May 11 12 The boys will be hiking in two or three man teams for a distance of not less than 20 miles If you think thats a short walk remember that these fellows will be carrying all their gear on their back The hike had a good turnout last year and everyone In attendance had a good time The training sessions were held In St Georges church and the scouts in attendance received instruction in subjects such as first aid pioneering how to properly pack their gear and other topics related to the hike It should be a great weekend CHINESE cooking was expertly taught to Acton High students at last weeks 25
