year ago also his sister Jennie and his brother of Toronto He was the son of the late Herman Coles and Jessie Coles of He is survived by three sons and two daughters Rev Stuart B of Toronto Clarence of Acton Mrs James Aston Louise North Bay Mrs Al Joyce of Toronto and Howard D of St Marys He is also survived by 17 grandchildren six of whom served as pallbearers and seven great grand children Lay preacher He had been an elder In the session of Knox Church Acton for 30 years in later years serving as repre elder to Presbytery of Brampton Synod and General Assembly of Church in Canada For several years he served as a lay preacher on mission charges at and and and Magnetawan and Burks Falls Being a graduate of Ontario Bible College this gave him the training that served him In good stead for this ministry of the Gospel He had been faithful member of the Alumni of Ontario Bible College During the past year he had been conducting regular Sunday afternoon services at the Eden House member of the camp of the Gideons International in Canada For the past 20 years he served faithfully in this ministry of distributing the scriptures and pro claiming the Word wherever an opportunity presented It self As well as many beautiful floral tributes a great many Memoriol Bibles were dedicated in his memory as a final tribute to a man who was unsparing in the use of his God given talents Knox Church was filled for the funeral service con ducted by Rev A Mc Kenzie assisted by the Moderator of the Presbytery of Brampton Rev E and Rev James Roe of Alax a long time family friend who gave
