Greeks he would answer boring Kevinjolned the Canadian Armed Forces one and a half years ago going to boot camp In Cornwallis Nova Scotia combat training in Alberta and with the battalion In Victoria British Columbia before shipping out for Cy about six months ago tie Is the son of Mr and Mrs Murray Harrison of and is a former student of Acton high school He is with the army Princess Patricia s Canadian Light Infantry and except for two weeks has been living with the Greeks in Cyprus For those two weeks his sniper patrol was stationed in Kronberg which is in he neutral territory Kevin says the Canadians associate more with the Greeks and find the Turks hard to communicate with Receives plaque The private says there is no open warfare with the but there have been with other United ations peace keeping contingents Kevin was awarded with a plaque after he reported a dangerous situation arising between the Turks and Greece to his senior officers Because of his home Just how much pressure was on him He described his job as frustrating and boring Even while at Kevin must keep In shape He keeps up his exercises which in elude running ten miles a day He admitted though that he has let a few days pass since his return home when he did not go out running When he returns to Cyprus in about three weeks he will be back helping the native people try to get their lives back to the 1974
