a group of handl capped persons and friends trying to reach out and tend a helping hand to all who would like help lo adjust to every day living and those who have overcome their handicaps and are willing to help All of us at some time were able to do everything and enjoy the same things other people do but circumstances beyond our control changed our way of living Tragedies can happen overnight to young or old alike and it is very dlffi cult for some people to make the adjustments necessary to live their lives normally among people who have he use of all their faculties As citizens we have right to do so and it is only with the help and understanding of other people we arc going to be able to do it A sincere invitation Is ex tended to all interested In voluntary help and coming out to become a member of Friends With the help of so many people our group was able to enjoy many outings and events this past year We Omit bank last week Three gingerbread houses made by Acton chapter Phi of Beta Sigma Phi will be on display in Viman Arts and Crofts Supply Out let Bank of Nova Scotia and the Bank of Montreal Tickets ore on sale throughout the town with the draw to be made on December 16 The Bank of Montreal was omitted from last week re port Surprise party CHRISTINE daughter of Mrs Stella Brunelle and the late Sam Brunelle Acton and Lawrence Colera son of Lee and George Colero of Islington were married October 29 in St Alban church They are now living in Victoria British Columbia where they work for the BC government Brigade Milton display There will he a special play in Milton Mall by the St John Ambulance and the Acton members hope people from here will be able go down lo Millon sec it The display will be of interest lo all it will include movies of
