each day Things got off to a good start on Monday with a three- legged race board walk and on airplane throwing contest A teachers legs pageant was held during the lunch hours Interested students started work on snow sculptures for the judging on Friday Tuesday was the day for outdoor events with a skating party taking place at the Middle school at night Wednesday today was Banana Day at the high school Activities Include banana eating contest the banana relay and a banana hunt For the banana relay contestants must run the length of the cafeteria and be fed a banana by team mates The banana hunt will take place In the school with clues being given over the PA system Thursday will have ac tivities such as spikedriving contest logcuitlng broom ball and A toboggan race with students pulling their homeroom teacher around the track is included for the Carnival fun The snow sculpture contest will bo judged on Friday and a dance will end the Great Winter Carnival on Friday evening Seven Scouts enjoy weekend winter camp temperatures were In store for the seven Scouts who ventured out Into the cold for a weekend of winter camping The boys began the weekend in the warm comfort of the Scout hall where they prepared foil dinners and packed sleds for the journey ahead They set out on Saturday morning loaded down with sleds full of equipment and supplies and headed from the Scout hall to the campsite via the Old Radial Trail theboys set up camp with Scoutcr John Sharpies Joining them at campsite The rest of the afternoon was spent tobogganing and skiing under the supervision
