Pierce The Dublin North Hillbillies held their seventh meeting on Wednesday March at the home of Mrs The meeting was opened with the pledge then the business was taken care of At this meeting the mem discussed first aid They went over babysitting rules ind what to do when the child They went over burns ills animal bites what to do a child is choking on something and others that could happen when you re babysitting They went over them and the leaders ex plained what to do in each case All the members learned something new They then went into dis cussing babysitting Tbey talked over numbers to keep at hand wages and what mikes a good babysit Mrs pointed out that a busy babysitter is usually a good one and one that is reliable Most of the members had already done a lot of babysitting and contri buted a lot to the convera lion The then spent the rest of the meeting working on their craft projects Annual meeting netting the Duke of Chapter IODL the home of Mrs If Holmes with the Regent Mrs in the chair A short monthly business was adjourned lo proceed with the annual meeting All departmental were presented and accepted It was felt the Chapter had enjoyed a satisfying and productive resume of the geographical location of Guyana its climate terrain population industries churches etc Mrs Watson told of many other interesting facts about Guyana as learned from a visit with Mr and Mrs Persaud form of that country and who have been living in Acton for the past eight years Several pictures taken in Guyana were circulated for the members to see The worship for Easter from the Glad copies of the original work of art Praying Hands created by Albert Durer the famous painter and engraver Mrs Near informed the group of how the Prayer Hands came to be made A poem read by Mrs
