fouth page editorial Extend thanks With school drawing to a close for the 1977 school year Press would like to lake this opportunity to thank all those who contributed throughout the year to the various school columns For ten months diligent young reporters from Acton high school middle school Bennett and Robert Little public schools and St Joseph Separate School have gathered news and sports from their respective Institutions and taken the time to write up these accounts It was the first year to have columnists or grades kindergarten to grade six and both teachers and Free Press staff were hesitant about having such young children bear such a responsibility However our fears were in vain Each reporter did an outstanding Job when It came his or her turn to report the news They took their responsibilities in hand and showed the older generation they could do it To name all the reporters would surely mean to unwittingly omit names Various students wrote up the column from Robert Little and St Joseph So in order not to hurt any feelings by leaving out names we will Just give an overall thank you to all the writers You your parents and friends know who you are and that Is the most important To the parents and friends of these fine youngsters you should be proud of them They have shown they can do an assigned Job and do It well To each school s reporters for the 197879
