Curling Club was started In the 1020 At that time a group of locals Including Tom Nichol now living in Brampton and Dr Buchanan formed a club when the arena was built It was never Incorporated as the club still has a full membership of 150 and room for more During the next two weeks a member ship drive Is taking place with open curling for members and members until October Coupled with social events and a workshop it is hoped open curling time will provide an opportunity for interested people to explore curling and wish to join the club Membership fees are very inexpensive partly due to
