Saturday in Acton Legion Each received a framed color photograph of the buildings where had spent many years of work who was employed by the for years was master of ceremonies The three Dills papers and Acton printing plant were sold to Inland Publishing Co 13 Friends bid adieu to Dills brothers It was a time for laugh and time for ears Saturday evening as over 1G0 former employees of Dave and Jim Dills for owners and pub lishers of the Acton Free Press the Milton Can Champion and the Independent gathered to bid them a final farewell Speeches present a and reminiscing took up the better part of he evening Jim recalled how he family built he company up from one small news paper into three national award winning weeklies He told of the limi when he and his brother Dave purchased a press while their rather was out west it a former publisher said lit was staggered at thought of trying pay ff the sum However he noted If I have taken this business would not have grown into the
