into service starting Sat June approximately eight years it was first disclosed to the public Ontario Hydro will activate one circuit of the new Bruce to Milton transmission line that day June 3 At kilo vol the maximum In ho stem this new line will enable Hydro to trans lowcost bulk power from the Bruce plant more reliably and more economically said Jim Redmond manager of transmission utiliz ation Part of the line between Bruce and Colbeck transformer station north of was activated two years ago with a connection to the system there but the lower voltage kept substantial amounts of power
