for day care study through fight for marks relaxed and you get the some results People in Canada ore more interested in under standing each other and thats an Important point for Peter Peter will soon be returning with his par ents to Schwalbach near Frankfort In West Ger many The exchange year has meant much to Peter On the debit side though he faces another year of schooling in Germany He had to sacrifice a year in order to come here I think this exchange year was mostly about the people you meet the families and friends OK they are Canadians but learning mostly about other people and learn a lot about jouraelf And what did he learn Id say my Is wider now Im not as narrow minded as I was Ive met different people I can understand other points of view on any thing on life Its hard to remember what I was like when I came over I wake up and I think English I eat like everyone else When I I thought German and translated into Eng lish Now I think in Eng lish when Im alone even when Im a let Thinking n the English language Is a skill which Peter Bays ho hopes to maintain for as long as possible It will be an advantage to him especially if he rcallies his plans to return Peter thanks the Rot Club for all Its help during the year plus the Smith McDonald and families with whom he lived Sometimes Peter said when meeting people he found he was treated differently after he was Introduced as being Ger It seemed that as soon as they knew I was Ger man they seemed to be more Interested Not be cause of the person but because of something else Such introductions occurred mainly the start of Peters stay They stay in his memory possibly because he does not like being treated as an exception When I come back Im going to cross Can ada and if anyone asks where I from Im go ing to
