much more positive than her former social work with Peel Children Aid This is happy work with a positive end she smiles Big Brothers are friends The Big Brothers organization matches unteer mature males with fatherless boys as friends Working on the premise that boys without a male in the home need frequent contact with men in order to grow up with male image and a good feeling Big Brothers introduces youngsters friends The relationship remains an informal friend ship At no time is the big brother suppose to surrogate father or a disciplinarian Sherry ex plains However he is expected to spend about four hours week with Ihe boy taking him out for enrichment experiences that can vary from fish boll games movies or visiting in the big brother home Sherry comments most boys need a friend she Is enjoying her social work and finds the Job ideal for a mother with young children She very good about the organization and says If I was in the same position I would be looking for something
